My family of 5 are going to a wedding on a Friday nite and I want to know how much to give as a gift?
I am going to a wedding this Friday nite at 6pm to at a nice place for an ex- teacher of my kids who I am friends with. I have no idea how much to give as a wedding gift. It will be me and my husband and 3 daughters ages 19, 17, and 14. I want to give the right amount without being cheap or at the same time going overboard. Can someone give me advice on this. Thank you!!!
I'd say at least 100....maybe 150 since many couples give 100. Or....if 150 is too much.... give 100 with a small "token"...I sometimes put cash with a x-mas ornament since many new couple have so few x-mas decorations. (that makes it seem more thoughtful)
