What random, seemingly small aspect of motherhood are you most looking forward to?
This is my first pregnancy and I find myself daydreaming about my future life as a mother a lot. There are so many fun, exciting things to think about and look forward to! Obviously we're all anxious to begin our new lives loving and teaching our little ones, but there are so many little things that can be so wonderful, like getting homeade Mother's Day cards, first days of school, etc. So I was just wondering what random things about impending motherhood excite you ladies the most?
For example: I can't wait to celebrate all holidays at all the different stages of my child's life! It's going to be so much fun to make Easter baskets, buy Halloween costumes, plan birthday parties, get Christmas presents and stocking stuffers!
(I know this is more of a parenting question, but I thought it was appropriate for mommy's to be.)
Ladies who are already mothers, please share that has been the most rewarding and fun "little" thing about being a mommy. =)
I can't wait to just hear him cry. I'm planning on breastfeeding and i'm really exctied for that as well. I love buying things for babies so shopping for him is also going to be tons of fun!!! I'm just so exctied for all the ups and downs of motherhood.
I also can't wait to see my husband with our son!!!
